The CCI France Japon is pleased to organise the Design Thinking committee event, to be held on Tuesday, 21 April 2026.

Oulipian practices use constraints to trigger creativity, turning rules into a generator of original solutions. How adaptability becomes a design principle, enabling projects to evolve in response to human, cultural, and contextual realities without losing focus or coherence ?
We invite you to rethink project design as a balance between imagination and discipline, openness and precision, ambition and adaptability—principles that extend far beyond the literary field.

"Les 24 heures du roman" is a project conceived by the association Ecriture en Mouvement and directed by Anne Forrest-Wilson. She will explain how she was able to generate this project where 12 authors will be brought together in a train, to write a book in 24 hours, in October 2026 (boarding in Kyoto, arriving at Matsue, and Tokyo).

Richard Colasse, one of the writers involved in the project, will be present at the event to engage with participants. Benjamin Lamberg and Florent Dabadie, who are supporting the project, will also be in attendance.
