The CCIFJ invites you to an exclusive afterwork at Millet Mountain Group Japan’s offices, bringing together the group’s history, expertise and leadership during Romain Millet’s visit to Japan this November.

Founded in 1921 in Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps, Millet has spent over a century supporting mountaineers and mountain enthusiasts around the world. With roots in the Alps and products tested in the demanding environment of Chamonix, the brand has built its reputation on technical expertise, innovation and a deep connection with the mountains. 

The company also has a unique family story. In 2021, Romain Millet and his uncle, Jean-Pierre Millet, brought Millet back into the family, renewing its entrepreneurial legacy and paving the way for its next chapter. 

Millet Mountain Group Japan is being given a high level of autonomy and 80% of the turnover in Japan is generate by products developed by the Japanese team in Japan. The turnover in Japan has doubled over the past 4 years.

During this special evening, Romain Millet and Per Rasmussen, Representative Director and President, will present the group, offering insights into its history, activities and vision.
