The CCI France Japon is pleased to organise a special joint event on the outlook 2026 with the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BLCCJ) and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (SCCJ).

This event will explore how Japan’s political and risk landscape is evolving in 2026, combining policy analysis with a practitioner’s perspective. It will first examine the impact of the new LDP–JIP (Ishin no Kai) coalition on Japan’s political direction and key policy areas affecting business, including labour reform, policies concerning foreign nationals, social security, and investment, with insights ahead of the government’s forthcoming Basic Policy (Honebuto no Hoshin) announcement.

The discussion will then shift to how organisations can operate in an environment of constant volatility, drawing on Risk Outlook 2026 to examine accelerating and converging risks, from geopolitical fragmentation and cyber threats to extreme weather and resource constraints, and to explore practical approaches to strengthening crisis readiness, maintaining duty of care, and building resilience in an increasingly unpredictable world.
