Event Recap: Kansai After Summer Party at Café de Paris

The After Summer Party is an annual opportunity for CCIFJ members and partners to reconnect in a relaxed and friendly setting, while also making new connections. This year, the event was held at Café de Paris, bringing together 30 participants from the Franco-Japanese business community for an enjoyable evening in a distinctly French atmosphere.

The evening began with a welcome address and a toast from Jean-François Rauch, Head of the CCIFJ Kansai Desk, setting the tone for an evening of lively conversations and new encounters. Guests were then invited to enjoy a generous French buffet specially prepared by the Café de Paris team.

The buffet featured a wide selection of cheeses, meats, and side dishes, including quail legs, roast pork, roasted potatoes, ratatouille, and much more. Champagne, wine, and other drinks complemented the meal, allowing guests to enjoy a taste of French cuisine while catching up and making new connections.

Throughout the evening, conversations continued over dinner in the warm and welcoming setting of Café de Paris. Guests had the opportunity to reconnect with members of the CCIFJ network, meet new contacts, and expand their professional networks. The relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant and the friendly spirit of the evening made for an enjoyable and engaging gathering.

The enthusiastic response to this first edition in Kobe highlights the value of bringing more CCIFJ events to the city. We look forward to continuing to organize events in Kobe and creating more opportunities for the Franco-Japanese business community to connect and grow together.
