Looking back on the « A rendez-vous with Jean RENO : Presented by BONJOUR FRANCE»

Let’s look back at the Talk-Show featuring the renowned actor Jean RENO!

On April 20, BONJOUR FRANCE organized an exceptional Talk-Show at L’Espace@CCIFJ centered around the play “Rakuda,” performed solo in Japan by Jean RENO, an iconic figure in French and international cinema.

The evening began with a warm welcome speech by Jérôme CHOUCHAN, President, CCI France Japon, and was smoothly hosted throughout by Mayu HANDA, Director BONJOUR FRANCE, CCI France Japon, serving as Master of Ceremonies.

During the Talk-Show, the play’s director, Ladislas CHOLLAT, also took part in the discussion, while presenter, journalist, and sports commentator Florent DABADIE moderated the exchange.

Jean RENO spoke about how he gradually and consistently built his acting career, as well as his deep attachment to Japan. He also reflected on his family and the many landmark films in which he has appeared. Throughout the discussion, he explained how the idea of performing the solo play “Rakuda” in Japan came about, as well as the reasons behind choosing such an unusual title.

At the end of this exclusive Talk-Show, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception prepared by Tokyo Catering Club, featuring a menu inspired by Jean RENO’s films. Dassai sake, a special sponsor of “Rakuda,” was also served alongside the reception.
