Women in Leadership: A Dynamic Workshop in Nagoya

Two inspiring women led engaging seminars and workshops on management and leadership in Nagoya

On April 16, 2025, in collaboration with our partner, the Central Japan Economic Federation, the CCIFJ organized a special event featuring seminars and interactive workshops led by two exceptional speakers: Béatrice Delpuech, Area Director for Japan and Korea at AF-KLM Cargo, and Helen IWATA, President and bilingual coach at Sasuga Communications.

Members, partners, and friends of the Chamber gathered at the Nagoya Innovators Garage, right in the heart of the city. The event began with a seminar by Béatrice Delpuech, who shared insights from her 36 years of experience in team management and outlined what it truly takes to be an effective leader.

The second seminar was led by Helen IWATA, who, as a professional coach, explained the keys to building trust in the workplace. Drawing on the trust equation and the three main causes of workplace conflict, she guided participants through a hands-on reflection to apply these concepts to their own situations and explore practical conflict resolution approaches.

After the two dynamic seminars, the event transitioned into small-group workshops: one led by Béatrice, the other by Helen. In a relaxed and open atmosphere, participants shared the real-life challenges they face and received personalized advice from the facilitators.

The event concluded with a networking session. One of our valued partners, the MOF Museum Nagoya, kindly provided delicious sandwiches and coffee (special thanks also to Arcane and Takanashi Milk). Participants enjoyed the refreshments while engaging in lively conversations.
The CCI France Japon hopes that events like this will help foster a more positive and inclusive working environment throughout the Chubu region.
