About Chef Olivier Oddos

Born in Bordeaux, France, in 1970, Olivier Oddos began his culinary journey at the age of 16, gaining experience at several Michelin-starred establishments. Notably, he served as second chef at the prestigious La Tour d’Argent, then a two-star Michelin restaurant.

In 2000, upon the recommendation of La Tour d’Argent’s head chef, he moved to Japan to serve as a culinary instructor at Le Cordon Bleu. After serving as technical director and executive chef at its Kobe and Tokyo campuses, he opened Chez Olivier in Ichigaya in 2009.

More than just a chef, Olivier is also a passionate restaurateur. His hands-on approach extends beyond the kitchen to include wine curation and service, ensuring every guest experiences the very best of French fine dining in Japan.
