This unprecedented gathering in Kansai is jointly organized by two major institutions: the CCI France Japon Kansai office on the one hand is dedicated to fostering economic exchange, and the Institut Français du Kansai on the other is devoted to promoting French culture. Held in the heart of Kyoto, the event invites participants to explore the current transformations of traditional craftsmanship and savoir-faire between France and Japan.
This dialogue, conducted in Japanese by leading experts from the sector through three thematic roundtable discussions, aims to open conversations on several key structural issues:
Digitalization and traditional craftsmanship: a new source for creating value?
Going global: challenges and strategies for accessing high-value markets
The transcreation of cultural resources: the challenge of transforming heritage into new value
Each roundtable will feature at least two speakers and one moderator.
Following these discussions, opportunities for collaboration between French and Japanese stakeholders will continue during a business networking session and terrace cocktail reception reserved for participants.
